Energy infrastructure targeted in Ukraine
The country's power facilities have faced escalating attacks in recent weeks

During the night, Moscow's aerial assaults have led to electricity outages in multiple districts of the capital city, the Ukrainian capital.

Several individuals were injured while residents in eastern districts were left without electricity and faced problems to water systems, as stated by local authorities.

Meanwhile, a young boy was fatally injured in a separate aerial attack in the Zaporizhzhia region in the southern area, based on information from local officials.

Officials stated that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and over thirty rockets struck energy facilities, characterizing such assaults as "premeditated" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as winter approaches.

Energy officials said Russia was "launching a major assault" and repair crews were striving to repair systems.

A barrage of missiles hit power facilities and apartment buildings in the capital.

Several of the people hurt in the attacks on the capital have been taken to hospital, as confirmed by city authorities.
