Real Madrid's winger Offers Regret to The Madrid Club Supporters

The forward has scored five goals in 10 La Liga matches this season.

The Madrid giants forward Vinicius Jr has said sorry to fans for his response when replaced in Sunday's heated match against Barcelona win.

He was substituted in the 72nd minute and showed his frustration by heading directly off the pitch.

Vinicius later returned to the bench and, following his club's 2-1 victory, attempted to approach Barcelona's Lamine Yamal during unsavoury final whistle incidents.

"This day I want to express regret to all the supporters for my response when I was replaced in the derby," the player posted on social media.

"Similarly to I have said in person during today's practice, I also want to express regret anew to my colleagues, the team, and the president.

"Sometimes fervor takes over me because I continuously aim to succeed and assist my club. My winning mentality originates in the passion I feel for this team and each thing it represents."

The player moved to the Spanish capital from Brazil in the year 2018 for millions and has notched over a century of strikes in more than 300 games.

But his career in the Madrid is unclear with speculation in the past few months suggesting that Los Blancos would consider allowing the young star move on if they were to receive a appropriate bid.

When the winger was taken off on the match day, broadcast footage from network the platform captured him remarking: "Always me! I'm leaving the team! It's better if I depart, I'm leaving."

In his new post on X, the athlete stated: "I commit to keep fighting at all times for the welfare of the club, as I have performed since the very beginning."
